Services
The village is on mains power and (pumped) mains drainage. As power comes in on overhead lines some locations experience power drops from time to time. If a major installation is being contemplated it would be wise to take qualified advice as it has been found that some locations do not have sufficient capacity to support very heavy electrical loads. Western Power is responsible for the power supply facilities not your billing agency.

In very poor weather it can be useful to listen to BBC Lincolnshire on 94.9 or 104.7 FM for weather, traffic and school closure reports.
Communications
The village is on broadband.
Satellite TV reception is good but dwellings under the Cliff cannot see Belmont mast. Mobile phone reception can be poor in some locations, depending on the provider.
The village is served by an hourly bus service running between Grantham and Lincoln in both directions. Beware: some southbound services stop at Wellingore. Please use the following link to check times and stops:

Waste
Household waste is collect fortnightly on Tuesdays. There are separate bins for landfill, recyclable rubbish and compost. For details please follow this link:
