The school is a modern building arranged into four class rooms.

It is the school of the village and its records date from 1865.  Everyone is welcome to visit and take part in school activities so that the community links are maintained.

Children start school at the beginning of the term in which they are five and would-be new entrants attend on Friday afternoons during the previous term.

The Sir William Robertson Academy

The Sir William Robertson Academy is an 11-18 co-educational comprehensive school which opened in 1961 and was re-organised in 1975 to cater for the educational needs of children of all abilities.  As a former Grant Maintained school it was required to become a Foundation School in 1999 as GM schools reverted to Local Education Authority control.

The School stands between Welbourn and Leadenham and is set in spacious, attractive grounds. There are extensive playing fields and hard tennis courts. The accommodation has been substantially extended and there are excellent facilities for practical subjects and science in addition to general classroom provision.

An Evening College is based at the school which provides a range of vocational and recreational courses.
